harddisk problem!! windows XP

jeg har windows XP og jeg har anskaffet mig en ekstern harddisk fra en ven der ikke går meget op i PC... den er på 300GB og jeg har lige sat den i som alm. SLAVE harddisk. (fordi på alle ældre eksterne kan du pille den der "kasse" af og inden i er en flot glintende harddisk) - og jeg har haft den i 2 dage... min ven har haft den i 2 år men den har aldrig været brugt!! - nå men nu klikker min harddisk og jeg havde kopieret nogle media filer over på harddisken og installeret bus sim 2010 new york... (der var mindst en million media filer så de fylder) i morges (D. 15. august 2010) fuckede den op og det tog mig nogle forsøg at tænde min PC...fordi det tog først noget tid med det der "detecting IDE drives" og så sagde den at den ikke kunne finde min nye harddisk og mit DVD-drev... men jeg startede og det hele manglede... så jeg tog stikkende og tog dem ud og ind igen også virkede den... troede jeg !! - for da den fik tændt var min hardisk underlig og langsom... så jeg ville høre noget musik og min "player" kunne ikke "read" og min media player "crashede". så jeg tænkte "nåeh ja.. hva faen" og kørte en virus scan på den... "kunne ikke fuldføres PGA. fejl" - så jeg scannede for fejl: "kontrol af hardisk kunne ikke udføres" WTF!!! jeg nægter at kyle min nye harddisk ud!!! PLZ hjælp

Jeg vil lige umiddelbart vove at påstå at denne nye ekstra harddisk trækker for meget ned i strøm. Men idet at jeg ikke kender til din computers specifikationer, tør jeg ikke konkludere dette. Men det kunne godt tyde på det, da som du nævner, er det hele begyndt at køre langsommere, filer gider ikke læses, osv., hvilket godt kan tyde på at harddisken ikke får nok strøm til at kunne fungere optimalt.

Men giv os endeligt din PC's specifikationer.
Gå eventuelt ned i "Start", tryk "Kør", skriv "dxdiag" og tryk "OK".
I bunden af det nye vindue skal du nu trykke på "Gem alle oplysninger". Gem dem på dit skrivebord, og åben tekst-dokumentet. Kopier al tekst og sæt det ind i et nyt indlæg her i tråden.

tja... SÅ... nu er min PC ødelagt... harddisken er ihvertfald (dette er en låndt PC) ... min lillesøster har fucked op min computr... hun ville drille (hun er 6 den lille mide) så hun tændte og slukkede på kontakten indtil den døde... GRRR... jeg har haft dette problem før med en ældre pc men jeg inst. windows xp igen og den virkede vist... min onkel er den totale computernørd og har lavet "lortet" mange gange.... den siger detecting IDE drives... OK ... og så det det med windows logoet og den der loade-streg så laver den blå-skærm og starter forfra... jeg har købt nyt tv da min dumme søster osse ødelagde det gamle så budgettet er lissom opbrugt så uden penge er der ikke nogen særligt gode løsninger... skal jeg prøve at trykke pause/break og fryse det eller hvad...
